Gary Uftring is having an Open House on Saturday, February 20, 9:00am-noon, to view his 40+ cars and enjoy the company of other car enthusiasts. Gary's Garage is located at 3807 N. Main, East Peoria. His brown Morton Building is behind the Ufring Autowash just off Fairlane Drive on the way to the AutoMall next to McCluggage Bridge. Coffee. donuts, & soda provided. Guests are Welcome!

CLUB TRIP -May 13-17, 21st Annual Lone Star Corvette Classic. Lv. Thursday morning; stay in Branson & see a show; drive rest of way Friday. Start back on Sunday, get back on Monday. Sunday run on the Texas Motor Speedway. This 3-day event is packed with fun activities for everyone: Casino Night, silent auction, vendors, car corral, car show, khana, and track events. Participants will enjoy the Friday night welcome party and Corvette cruise. More than 600 Corvettes are expected to be on display for the Show n Shine and Judged car show activities on Saturday. Proceeds benefit the Speedway Children's Charities and the National Corvette Museum. http://www.lonestarcorvette.com More details later.

CLUB TRIP - August 19-22 - American Le Mans Series, Elkhart Lake, WI; on Sunday you get to drive on the track. Travel on Thursday, drive home Sunday afternoon. There may not be a track in North America that stirs the senses like Road America.

September 16-18, 2010 - Bowling Green, KY Z06 Fest geared towards performance. Drag racing, auto cross, tech sessions, seminars, road tours, poker run, scavenger hunt, a banquet and auction and much more are planned, with a special focus on the Z06 Corvette!
September 17-19 - 36th Anniversary, FunFest at Mid-America Motorworks in Effingham. Meet at the gas station by the Museum at 11:00 am on Saturday for club photo. Club parking available. To travel together on Saturday, meet at 6:00 AM at the Peoria County Jail at the corner of Maxwell Road & 474. We will stop for breakfast at Mahomet.
September 25-26 (last weekend in Sept) -- Apple/Pork Festival in Clinton, IL. Meet at 9:00 am at the Goodfield Rest Stop to travel together to Clinton. Car show for Corvettes only; registration 10:00-1:00; $10 fee to Habitat for Humanity. Judging 1:00-3:00. Dash plaques to first 100 registrants. registrants. Free shuttle from Ted's Garage to the Apple & Pork Festival.

September 30 - October 1-2, 2010 (1st weekend of October) Eureka Springs, AR -- same weekend as Bikers Weekend. No Club trip planned.
Friday, October 8 5:30-8:00 PM Timberlake Country Club, Peoria, Cruise-In & Chicken Dinner Buffet. Eat between 5:30-8:00 PM. Buffet includes fried chicken, coleslaw, mashed potatoes/gravy. $1/person discount with show car.
